Local Builders’ Merchants Looks Forward To Grand Opening Of Loughborough Branch On Week Starting October 18th.

A family run builders’ merchants with over 35 years serving professionals and the public throughout the East Midlands is set to open a brand new Loughborough depot on Monday 18^th October.

Customers are also invited to the store’s grand opening events over the course of the week where free doughnuts will be available from Midlands brand Project D on the 19^th and 20^th and a hog roast will be on offer on the 21^st and 22^nd.

P&R Building Supplies, whose first store opened in Coalville, Leicestershire in 1983, will be welcoming customers to their new depot on Station Avenue, Loughborough later this month.

A family-run business, P & R was founded by Pat Johnson and Robert Saunders as a builders’ merchant with an emphasis on customer service and satisfaction. The company supplies to landscapers, builders, contractors, and DIY-enthusiasts across Leicestershire and beyond, with existing depots in Loughborough and Coalville.

The new Loughborough branch has been set up with the aim of establishing P & R as the ‘one stop shop’ for building supplies in the region. The purpose-built depot will contain materials for roofing, landscaping, construction, and more alongside expert staff on hand to dispense advice.

Industry professionals and members of the public alike are invited to celebrate the grand opening week from the 18^th October, where free doughnuts and a hog roast will be available over the course of the week. The shop will also be open alongside the festivities.

Director Paul Johnson was keen to give thanks to the local community for all their support, saying:
